TimberQuest is at the heart of the transformation at Hoover Elementary School in the Palo Alto Unified School District. Using the TimberQuest mass timber solution, the project replaces aging campus buildings with four modern, sustainable structures designed to support the next generation of learners. The new campus will include a 4,500 s.f. one story kindergarten classroom building, a 7,500 s.f. one story library and administration building, a 37,500 s.f. two story main classroom building, and a 7,000 s.f. multi-purpose building. The two-story TimberQuest structure will house 19 classrooms along with specialty learning and therapy spaces, staff areas, custodial spaces, and restrooms. Each building features natural wood interiors, abundant daylight, and views of the surrounding landscape, creating a warm and inspiring learning environment for students and educators.
