A new TimberQuest 1-story, DSA pre-checked classroom building is planned for The Seven Hills School campus in Walnut Creek to replace an existing, much loved but outdated structure, known as “Big Red.” The school selected TimberQuest for this project to meet the accelerated construction schedule that will take place during the summer of 2026 to have the building ready for students to return that fall. The new and improved Big Red classroom building will feature ambient light, views of outdoor spaces, and a natural wood interior, which support the school’s “Whole Child, Whole Community” campaign to “foster a learning environment that connects the indoors with [the school’s] beautiful natural outdoor learning spaces using sustainable design practices that emphasize indoor air quality, natural light, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship.”
